Making Samba win browser elections

One of the things that occurs from time to time is a browse election between NT and
Samba. I prefer to let samba win. Here's how to do it. This information is from smb.conf and is second hand. I haven't tried it yet, but I will eventually. os level = 100 will make it win them all, perferred master = yes will make it win most (it's what I use, and it wins them all). You might want to try domain master = yes, for multiple subnets. |
